According to the EMBO Molecular Medicine journal findings, experiment conducted by the Spanish scientist said that the life span of mice extended by 24 % using a single gene therapy treatment. If this experiment pays off, it will be useful for aging humans too. The Spanish team found that, when directly treating the particular gene of the mice helps in the increment of the lifespan. This therapy is never done before where telomerase enzyme was expressed by inducing cells which slows the biological clock. Previously it was found that; lengthening the average life of many species (including mammals) by giving treatment on specific gene.
The experiment was treated on Adult mice (one and two year olds) such that one lived longer by 24 % and the other 2 year old by 13%. The therapy made on the mice was found to be safe. The gene therapy is that treating the DNA-Modified virus i.e. been replaced by the telomerase (ribo nucleoprotein) which plays a key role in aging. Telomerase are nothing but the enzyme which repairs the ends of chromosomes known as (telomeres) which in turn slows down the biological clock. Without the development of the cancer it is possible to find telomerase-based gene therapy which will help in increasing the life span, said the Russian scientists led by Maria Blasco.

Sachin was refused to take oath as MP by Delhi High Court!!!

We all know that Master Blaster was selected to be a member in the Rajya Sabha. But on Wednesday Delhi High Court stopped Sachin taking oath as member, since they got a petition stating that he could not be nominated.
The petition was filed by Ram Gopal Singh Sisodia and the next hearing was postponed to July 5. This was done division bench members Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw and Acting Chief Justice AK Sikri. The petition states that, according to Article 80(3) people from literature, science, art and social services are eligible to be nominated for the Rajya Sabha. It also says that, person from sports field are not eligible for the nomination of Rajya Sabha. When considering the petition, Master blaster Sachin does not have the qualifications required for the member of Rajya Sabha. More over the Supreme Court declined petition on Monday and asked Mr Sisodia to take it to High Court.Along with Sachin, Rekha Ganeshan (Ace Tamil Actor Gemini Ganeshan’s Daughter) and industrialist Anu Aga were nominated. Anu Aga took oath on May 13th (Sunday) and the actress Rekha took Yesterday May (15th).

Ruled out any rethinking on Vodafone tax issue: Pranab Mukherjee

On Tuesday the government ruled out the rethinking on the issues made on Vodafone. Pranab Mukherjee, the Finance Minister in the Lok Sabha said a strong message that the multinational campaign against the Vodafone tax and he clearly stated that the India should never make the tax in such a way so as attract the foreign investment.
He also emphasized that the parliament has the right to correct the judgment of the Supreme Court and to make any further amendments. He also added that the parliament will not allow the situation to avoid paying tax by operating them to the tax haven.
There never exist a situation that someone makes the profit (money) and having their assets in India and neither paying the tax to India nor to its country of their origin. This situation can be better handled by taking the guidance by the DTAA (Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement).
Mukherjee said that the assertion on proposing the amendment to tax on the Vodafone tax deals rethinking must be ruled out because it is unfair for an organization to produce profit India using the resources by not paying the tax. By the IT Act (Income Tax) proposed with budget has rights to amend with the deal and tax issue on Vodafone.
The campaign of international business and domestic industry are against the move and this would no way affect the foreign investment, Pranab confirmed. This hour long speech was the reply on the finance bill which happened to be a debate topic in Lok Sabha.
He stated this with the past history as in 2007 the acquisition of Hutchison stake in the Hutchison Essar with the British telecom major it was not liable to pay the tax, this was the judgment of the Supreme Court but however the bill was passed on later. Tax on Vodafone is like combating against black money.

We all know that last year Mumbai Indian captain Mr. Sachin Tendulkar entering politics i.e. being nominated to the Rajyasabha. For this our TaareZameen par Hero Aamir Khan supports Sachin entering into the politics.
According to me, there are several qualities required for entering into politics such as honesty, need to be sensible, intelligent and also straight forward person. Being known Sachin Tendulkar for a long time, indeed he has more than these qualities to enter into politics and I am happy for him being nominated in the RajyaSabha.
On the other hand our Sachin Tendulkar is not willing to share the information about the RTI plea which requires the details about his house, which was filed by activist Anil Galgali in October 2011. Galgali asked the information about the fine and payment made by the Sachin Tendulkar to get occupation certificate of the house which is cleared.
It is said that Sachin home has violated against the home plan like adding additional gym which was not in the original plan.

Will CSK will “come back with a bang” in their fortress.

Dhoni’s men faced the consecutive loss in the CSK fortress MA Chidambaram stadium Chepauk, with Knight Riders and with Kings XI Punjab. Last year Chennai was the fortress for the Super kings, whatever the game played in Chennai, CSK was able win in their home ground. But this year it is testing the 3 times finalist and 2 time champions of the Indian Premiere League.
Last game played with Kolkata, CSK won the toss and scored the decent target of about 139 in 20 overs. Raina was the major contributor with 44 runs followed by Dhoni (34) and Hussy (18) runs. But Night raiders won the game with 2 balls remaining with Gambhir (63), Kallis, (26), followed by extras (13) and last Das (11) who gave the winning shot with a boundary. The extras are one of the concerns for the CSK.The other concern is that Dhoni’s experimenting, where Hussey played with opener Du Plessis though Badrinath was doing well with DU Plessis in the other matches.
The other one was with Punjab, where Punjab won the toss and scored 156 in 20 overs. CSK was not able to win the game scoring 149 in 20 overs. Though the first 2000 runs scorer, Raina and Mr. Cricket Hussey was their CSK was not able to win games. CSK have to improve about their bowling and fielding though they are good with the bat said their coach Stephen Fleming.

The winner of 2011 world cup captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni told that he would opt for 50 over format then the test match. Dhoni said that his retirement plan depends upon his health condition.
During the year end of 2013, need to see “how my body condition looks like”, if it is not in healthy condition means I have to make way for the youngsters to play the game. To carry on the game I will choose for the one day format then the test games. In order to the play the world cup (2015), I need to opt to pursue one format of the game that too depends upon the body fitness.
On the other hand Dhoni answered that, cricketing conference is much easy when compared to business, since it is not dealing with “%%” and also said that he is interested in growing hair.

Madhuri Dixit to star in Vishal’s Dedh Ishqiya

Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene has signed her first film after moving back to India. She will play the female lead in the Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Dedh Ishqiya’. Madhuri made the announcement on Twitter, “Hey guys, back in action. On sets for Star’s Life OK. Am doing Dedh Ishqiya. Jhalak right around the corner. More to come!”
Dedh Ishqiya is a sequel to Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi starrer 2010 film Ishqiya, which was directed by Abhishek Choubey.
Vidya will not be returning to the sequel as there is no room for her character but male lead Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah have been retained. Kangana Ranaut has been added to the cast.
Vidya is very happy to know that Madhuri will be playing lead in the sequel. She said, “In the first part, the two men come to my village to meet me. In the next part, they will go elsewhere, so obviously they will meet someone new and not me.”
The shooting of Dedh Ishqiya will be started in May. This will be Madhuri’s first film after shifting back to India.
Madhuri would also be judging the 5th season of dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” for the second time.

Indian hockey team ready for Olympics

As all knows hockey is the national game of India but audience cheer well for cricket and other sports. This must change and so the Indian hockey team has started preparing for the Olympics game. The heroes and trio of hockey team include Shivendra Singh, Sardar Singh, and Sandeep Singh.
On Saturday the trio promised that they will deliver a winning performance in the Olympics. They honorable said for sure they will get a medal for India and they are so determined to win the biggest sporting event.
In 2008 the hockey wouldn’t able to make it to Beijing but now Indian hockey players had won the qualifying tournament which took place at New Delhi and Olympics would be mega event to watch, admire and cheer up.
Sardar Singh, was the player of the tournament said that the players are well training for Olympics. They are playing with concentration and getting stronger day by day. Sandeep Singh is known as star drag Flicker said that they will play well in London match and win a proud and medal to the country.
Every player emphasized that the growth of their team is mainly due to the train that is being offered by the coach, Michael Nobbs. They said they are now implementing the old Indian hockey style, attacking hockey and the improvisation is quite well watched in recent matches.
The coach and trainer are both from Australia and however they are very hard working and so the players also, Sardar said. The way the hockey is played now days is trained along with the heavy weight training. He also added that they wouldn’t make it to Beijing Olympics team but this time it’s not going to happen, they promised to make it in Olympics.
Nevertheless to make it to the London Olympics they need to cross over 15-16 matches. They said this matches will be the chance to improve and train them well and they added that they will do well.

Chennai Super Kings made incredible victory: Chidambaram

CSK proved them with the unbelievable victory at the Chidambaram stadium on Thursday. How the thriller of the win was spread widely as they were to score 2 runs in one ball. The crowd of audience and supporters of CSK and RCB (Royal Challenges Bangalore) were in tension till the last movement.
The last ball seems to be a high pressure which with finish of happy explosive for CSK. The last four of Ravindra Jadeja was the final touch to the win. CSK won against RCB with 5 wickets and they scored 206-6. In their victory there smelled the sense of celebration in their home campus.
CSK and its captain believed that they would win the match with chasing score and that idiotic fortune however worked and they won. RCB did a major mistake not by choosing a worth bowler who can manage not to give scores. Nevertheless their bowlers Kohli and Bhatkal gave 71 runs in total just in 4 overs. Regardless of their bowling the batsman was able to score high.
Albie Morkel, the left handed batsman of CSK was the one who turned the victory against RCB as he scored 28 runs in 19th over (just 6 balls) and the longest six of that match was scored only by him. However he was out in 19.2 over.
Captain of CSK, Mahindra Singh Dhoni managed to score 41 runs in 28 balls and was out by Zaheer Khan. In spite of his fans felt for the out but the next upcoming batsmen took to the match so interesting with a happy ending. This is one the Dhoni’s innings where he was effortlessly fighting against the ball.
There is nothing to blame against RCB as they did well done batting and they scored a partnership (Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli)scoring of 109 run in just 66 balls. Apart from all their efforts CSK tackled to win the match.

Shahrukh Khan in legal trouble for smoking during IPL match in Jaipur stadium

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan tapped in trouble as a complaint has been filed in a court in Jaipur against King Khan for publicly smoking at Sawai Man Singh Stadium during an IPL 5 (Indian Premier League 5) match held on Sunday night. The match was being played between Shahrukh Khan’s team Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals.
The trouble arose for the actor with the Jaipur Cricket Academy Director Anand Singh Rathore who moved to court on Monday afternoon seeking action against him. The complaint was submitted in the court of additional chief judicial magistrate and April 12 has fixed as a date for hearing in the matter.
Nem Singh Rathore, the lawyer of Anand Singh said, “Smoking is banned at public places in Rajasthan since 2000. However, Shah Rukh Khan was smoking publicly in front of thousands of spectators. The actor was broadcasted live while smoking on the TV channel which was showing the match.”
Anand Singh Rathore has also handed over the evidence to the court along with the application. He submitted a CD with some photographs wherein the actor is clearly seen smoking.
Shahrukh Khan is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders.

The best actor honour went to Marathi actor Girish Kulkarni for the film ‘Deool’ – a Marathi movie that shared the best feature film award with ‘Byari’. Gurvinder Singh from Punjab won the best direction award for his movie ‘Anhe Ghorey Da Daan’.
The names of the award winners were revealed by the jury, consisting of actress Rohini Hattangadi amongst others. The award ceremony would be held on May 3, 2012.

Diabetes risk is reduced by drinking coffee: New study evolved

Ex-Congress Chief faces FIR in assets case

On the orders of the Bombay High Court, the Mumbai Police on late Tuesday had lodged an FIR at the Nirmal Nagar police station in Bandra against the former Mumbai Regional Congress President Kripashankar Singh and his family members for corruption.
Besides the Singh, the FIR also names Singh’s wife Malti Devi, son Narendra Mohan Singh, daughter Sunita Singh, son-in-law Vijay Singh and daughter-in-law Ankita Singh. They have been booked under IPC sections 409, 471, 420, 467, 468 and 201. The former Mumbai Congress President is also facing charges of cheating, forgery and destruction of evidence.
The FIR comes nearly a week after the Bombay High Court ordered his prosecution under the Prevention of Corruption Act for amassing huge benami assets. The Deputy Police Commissioner Nisar Tamboli said to media, “An FIR has been registered on Tuesday against Kripashankar Singh at the Nirmal Nagar Police station.”
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the disproportionate assets case against Kripashankar Singh. He has also been booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The team has 10 officials and headed by additional commissioner of police (Economic Offences Wing) Rajwardhan Sinha.
The SIT would probe all the movable and immovable assets of Singh, including land, shops, flats, commercial premises, bungalows, vehicles and bank accounts.

Bollywood actors Ritesh Deshmukh, 32 and Genelia D’Souza, 24 tied knot today at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, after courtship of eight years. The couple, who have been dating since their debut time, Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003.
Dressed in white sherwani and red turban, Ritesh entered the hotel riding a white ‘ghodi’. Genelia wore a red and gold lehenga.
Bollywood start as Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan and his mother Jaya, Asin, Akshay Kumar, Sajid Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Maria Goretti, Jackky Bhagnani among others. Tina and Anil Ambani are also at the event. The theme colour for the decor is yellow and pink.
