Sachin Tendulkar scored 100th century
March 17th, 2012
A long awaited fame and success has reached Sachin Tendulkar and he has finally scored his century of centuries in the match which he played against Bangladesh on Friday. However India couldn’t win the match, Sachin gave a remarkable history. India scored 289-5 in 50 overs.
Sachin Tendulkar is just 38 year old and he has scored 51 hundreds in the test match and 49 ODI hundreds. Australian player Ricky Pointing is next in this list with 71 hundreds. Sachin in a press interview said that he would not stop playing cricket because he “loves” cricket and he is passionate towards it.
This is not definitely the end of the game; however this might be a beginning for Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. His incredible journey towards his cricket has met a momentous destination in Mirpur on Friday (March 16th 2012). India played first and set the score for Bangladesh but they became strong through 17 runs given in two overs by Irfan Pathan.
He was the first cricketer to score 100 international centuries. Added to that, he also scored 114 against Bangladesh in this match. Sachin Tendulkar’s cricket career started in November 1989 in a match against Pakistan in the Karachi test. Nevertheless now it’s being at a steady growth towards glory.
Others define him that “he was mastered for scoring in cricket”. However the truth is that Sachin really desired to become a fast bowler, but Dennis Lillee turned that youngster into a batsman and so now we would get a Sachin Tendulkar. If he didn’t do that so we would have missed the batting genius.
The top slot of century is scored in 1992 against Australia match where he scored 114. Then same year he scored 111 against South Africa. In a match played in Birmingham in 1996 he scored 122 where everyone was stun to see such a true batsman and he played a single stroke game.

However this price hike has been protested by Trinamool congress and they have also shown a red flag against their own minister in the hike
The rationalization, which is the effect of rail hike, is too harsh. It would affect only 30% of high class passengers however it would affect the daily short distance traveler for about 150%.
Dinesh Trivedi, Railway Minister said that the railway budget that is being proposed for 2012-2013 has nothing to do with the “rationalization”. This increase will bring the additional railway revenue as Rs.7000 crore in the year 2012-2013. Mr. Dinesh Trivedi added that when the fuel adjustment component is also there in fare hike and when that comes into effect the price would go up further. The platform ticket has increased for Rs.2 and will cost Rs.5 from April.
The low fare was Rs.2 before but now it has been rounded to Rs.5 and this would be considers being very minimum fare for both suburban and urban commuters. The minimum distance charge is 150 km. The AC-2 and for AC class the minimum distance for charge is 300 km.
For sleeper class they have increased 5 paise per km. The AC chair is 10 paise per km. AC-3 tier and AC-2 tier has increased 10 paise and 15 paise per km. In the AC class 30 paise is increased. The minimum fare in AC-2 is Rs. 405 and travel for 2500 km the fare is Rs. 1690.
